Community Bank of Raymore's 18th Annual "Stuff the Bus" Drive Meets Record Need for Local Students
Community Bank of Raymore is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its 18th Annual “Stuff the Bus” School Supply Drive, bringing together businesses, first responders, schools, restaurants, and community members to help students start the school year prepared for success.
During the two-week drive, the community donated more than $5,500 in monetary contributions and collected thousands of school supplies for students throughout the Raymore-Peculiar, Cass Midway, and Harrisonville School Districts. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, approximately 700 students received the supplies they needed for a successful start to the school year.
The 2026 drive featured several new local partners, including fundraising nights at local restaurants and a friendly school supply competition between the Raymore Police Department and South Metro Fire District and the Belton Police Department and Belton Fire Department. Together, these partnerships helped expand the reach and impact of the program while showcasing the strong community spirit that makes Cass County such a special place to live and work.
Following the conclusion of the drive, bank employees volunteered their time to sort donations and prepare backpacks and school supply kits for those requesting assistance. Their efforts ensured supplies were distributed efficiently to families throughout the three school districts served by the program.
Community Bank extends its sincere appreciation to the donors, volunteers, restaurant partners, first responders, school district staff, businesses, and organizations who contributed to this year's campaign.
